Registration and Duration of Courses

On completion of the N6 Business Studies Certificate, the student must do an 18 month N6 related practical work and then he/she can apply for a diploma through the College.

On completion of the N6 Engineering Studies Certificate, the student must do an 24 months related practical work and then he/she can apply for a diploma through the College.

Requirements for Registration

The student must have certified copies of his/her education certificates and ID.

Class Fees

Available on request from the relevant campus.

National Diploma

A National Diploma is issued by the Department of Education after a student has received a N6 Certificate and has sufficient proof from an employer that the student has completed 18 months of applicable work experience

NATIONAL CERTIFICATE – VOCATIONAL (NCV)

The new NCV is a full year program at each of the NQF levels of study. There are, however, 3 exit level certificates. A student is issued with a certificate on the completion of each level of study that is Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4.

These qualifications are designed to provide both theory and practical in each field of study. The practical component of study may be offered in a real workplace environment or in a simulated workplace environment. It will provide students with an opportunity to experience work situations during the period of study.

Each programme consists of 7 subjects

Fundamental Subjects are to be found in all fields of study and consist of:
- Language - which must be the language of teaching and learning
- Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
- Life Orientation

Vocational Subjects.
This consists of 4 subjects three of which are compulsory and one optional. These subjects define the specific type or field of study. Refer below to the various fields of study for their specific vocational subjects.
